Speaker Bio

THOMAS BEIL is a Lecturer with the Management Faculty at the Terry College of Business and an Instructor in UGA’s Terry Executive Education Department. He is also the Founder and CEO of Perfect Planner LLC.

With over 17 years of experience, Thomas has reshaped operational landscapes and spearheaded strategic initiatives to revolutionize efficiency, drive down costs, and amplify profitability. A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Transformation Architect, Thomas is distinguished for leading digital transformation teams and initiatives, fostering innovation, and orchestrating profound supply chain enhancements across Fortune 500 companies such as MAHLE, Honeywell, and Whirlpool.

Thomas serves on the Board of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Operational Excellence Division, as the President-Elect, and the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Atlanta Chapter, as the VP of Student Activities. He is also a Professional Member of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and INFORMS. In academia, Thomas taught Business Analytics and Business Management at Lee University from 2022 to 2025, blending theoretical principles with real-world application as an Adjunct Professor.

His expertise encompasses manufacturing, supply chain, leadership, production planning and scheduling, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, project management, cost reduction initiatives, Third Party Logistics (3PL), quality standards, customer service and program management, warehousing and inventory control, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, procurement and logistics, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), and Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Distinguished for transforming supply chains into agile, high-performing operations, Thomas’s technical skills include SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Lean Six Sigma principles, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management Systems (IMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). His dedication to operational excellence has earned him recognition as a leader who inspires innovation and sets new benchmarks in supply chain management.
